Days like these really made her realise she was taking the air condition in her office, or her home, for granted. Still, it was nice to get outside to get lunch and on days like these when her schedule was less filled with 9 to 5 work and more with ''help out with whatever the mayor's committee requests'', Eva had the luxury of being master of her own time.

Her lunch for today was at one of the smaller locations, that only allowed for limited seating outside on wooden benches with attached tables. It wasn't a place that you'd brag about to your boss at work, but Eva thought it was a nice and cozy establishment, and the food was good too. Philippino, or a mix of it with other neighbouring cuisines. But for the moment she'd have to wait for her order to be served.

"Ooof... it's hot," she remarked, sitting at one of the benches that were in the shade as she fanned herself with a copy of her notes from the seminar a couple of hours earlier. Her pale face was rather flushed from the heat.

In stark contrast to the heat, Unit 09 was dressed in the full length Trenchcoat and fedora. His reflective eyes were covered by the brim brought down low. With the office so close by, he knew it could be a risk if he was discovered, but it was nice to see her during the day.

His titanic frame slid onto a bench opposite the pale woman, the bench straining under his weight. He adjusted as he leaned forwards, making sure he was on the most supported portion of the bench.

"Hola, Doctor." His voice was monotone, yet warm, with a distinctive tinniness to it that made it all but impossible to hide what he was.

As always, she had a smile ready for him, even if it was one slightly tinged by the exhaustion of being hot. The troubles of a natural organic.

"Hola. It's good to see you, Roger," she shifted slightly in her position to face him more fully. "How have you been?"

He pondered her query for a moment, letting the space ib time sink in. "A curious question, doctor. Diagnostics show that I am operating within efficient parameters. For how I have been? Well, is what I would say. As well as one can be fallen within the cracks of the law." He smiled to her. It was practiced, in that it looked natural.

Only diffused by those distinctive eyes of most Bioroids.

"And you? Has everything been alright with yourself?"
