[Day 8 - Late Afternoon] The Getaway

The government bioroid would emit a low whirring again. She was slightly surprised at the sight of Bree, but didn't have much prior information on her to think much of it one way or another. That wouldn't prevent them from registering image, voice, name, the things Leo had just said about her, and the link to the Wyldside.

The Weyland personnel decided they would pursue, so what would become of the group was still to be determined.

Maybe they would find a chance to deal with them. Not to seek vengeance. Not necessarily. They were dealing in androids as illegal slaves, which was reprehensible and against the law. That much was certain.

But that had set the course for four...

They glanced at Nadia. Four? Three?

Some free androids. Maybe that could get... somewhere. It was something to think about.

For now, as they waited for the results of Debra's team, they focused on Leo and Nadia.

Expression bland, Leo raised his hand, pointing. "They just left. You can catch them if you hurry."

Looking at Nadia and the others, he shrugged. "Seemed like the right move." It was enough of an explanation.

He looked more directly at Jane and Lina. "So... thanks." He said. "Let me know if I can help you out with something sometime." Another moment, and he shrugged again, looking back to Nadia. "You okay? They give you anything to eat, or drink?" He scowled off the direction they'd run. If they'd starved her, maybe it wasn't too late to put a bullet in them...

"Thank you as well, mr Knight.", they said, now using his surname as would be proper. "It's important for the government to have this dealt with."

And to androids.

Giving a glance to Leo, Nadia would add, "Mr. Knight was sure to see to my safety. Protecting Miss Mills' investment. Avaline models are expensive, after all," she'd add as a point with no difference to her expression. Though there was a difference from the first time she'd said that to her. At first, it was a point of pride for Nadia. Now.. it was just something said to sneakily get under her skin a little. Spoken in that professional type-writer like tone.

Turning then to Leo more fully, she would shake her head. "Not that I recall. Much of the time was a blur. I am still a little confused after it all, I admit."

Then turning to Nadia. "Miss Nadia, I'm sorry to get into this now, but I'd like to record some information on the incident. I can talk to you later if you would prefer." A short moment of silence, and they decided to ask one question, at least. "Do you remember names of who you and the others would be sold to? It would be good to know who else is involved in this. To avoid further problems."
