The Manta district is well-known for its long coast, beautiful beaches, and scenic views. It’s no surprise the district is the destination for both tourists and locals looking for a tropical vacation at one of its many resorts. Manta is made up of aspects that make the area extremely attractive to young and enterprising corporate stars. Several resort hotels, nightclubs, casinos, and entertainment complexes are found along the white sandy coast of Manta. The streets and the skies are filled with fancy vehicles, while residents here are always dressed to impress. This district continues to draw visitors from all around the world to this day.
The other parts of Manta are known for hosting corporations and businesses that could afford to make the coast their base of operations. Most notably, the Haas Arcology and home of Haas-Bioroid in New Angeles can be found not too far from the long stretch of sunny beaches, making the district the tech giant's corporate town. The Manta district is both business and pleasure, it is home to the rich and beautiful.
The Strip is where establishments that cater to pleasure are found. The Business Subdistrict and Warehouse Subdistrict maintain the business side of Manta.
Anon
Anon is an exclusive club that deals in the usual fares that are found in Manta, loud music, plenty of dancing space, and easy access to the best designer drugs. It does set itself apart with its top-of-the-line holographic capabilities to make up for its rather stark plain interior. Club attendees adopt 'costumes' made with full-body holo-projections, often adopting new appearances and outlandish personas in the process. The club can be visited through the Network as well and offsite attendees are projected into the club with a life-like effect, making it difficult to tell who is actually there in person. Even the normally plain background of the club can be dressed using the same technology. Many risties pay to have their customized appearances commissioned by digital artists.

The White Beach spans a long length of the coast of Manta, presenting the perfect beach experience for risties, tourists and those who could afford it. The artificial beach is made possible with white silica sand that is often cleaned and reprocessed to maintain its perfect appearance. An equal length of the ocean is managed in a controlled manner, separated from the wild by a barrier and its waves generated by tidal harnesses. There are very few incidents here but constant hoppers are patrolling the area that can drop a Rex rescue bioroid at a moment's notice.
Party Row
Party Row is a large length of docks that is host to private boats and cruisers that are often owned by young risties. True to its name, often wild events and parties are hosted in each of these ships on a nightly basis, making the area an unofficial clubbing district on its own. There seems to be an unspoken contest among the elite to see who could hold the biggest party in Party Row, flaunting their newest and biggest superyachts. Often, this draws the attention of the coastal NAPD but their jurisdiction is limited here when each ship is considered to be private property.
Bubble Kitea Downtown Manta, Tea Room and Dessert Laboratory
Bubble Kitea is one of the well-known chains around New Angeles, originally from Taiwan and expanding around the world. Their mascot is Kit the Kat, a green spotted cat who drinks bubble tea from his bowl. The desert chain is known for its creative recipes with teas brew to order by their bioroid staff, allowing customers to customize every aspect of their order from the type of sweetener and creamer used. While there are many small kiosks around New Angeles, their flagship location is found in Manta where many of their customers are young and hip with a notable sweet tooth. They extend from their bubble tea creations at his branch and allow their customers to create their own cake, macarons, and other desserts. The seating arrangements are more upscale here too, adopting themes from Japanese and English tea rooms. They keep a list of reservations for customs who wish to host a proper high tea session and the only Bubble Kitea location in New Angeles that can accommodate this service.
