Habitat for Humanity planning

Post by Diana Harper » Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:55 am

Hey all!

Figure we should make some plans on who does what best.

For me, corporate officers or recreational facilities are my best roll. I can do a habitat if needed, but I figure if someone can do it better, we should try and do it better.

Also, live footage of us making our plans:

Habitat (1eP+3eA) or NAPD offices (2eP+1eA) are my best shots. Not fantastic at any of them, but got a decent chance at pulling it off at Average. At Hard it might be possible, but I'd like to throw a Story Point to make it more likely in that case.

At hard with 1 upgrade I'd definitely go with Habitat AND a Story Point, and still below 70% chance then XD

Carries: Firearm, Nonlethal weapons, Crowd-control grenade, Comm, Snap lock, NAG uniform. No obvious armour?
Cross body bag with: Repair packs, slaps, stims, more Snap locks, monocam, PAD. More things?

1eP+3eA is pretty good, actually! We could have you throw that at the Habitat on the surface, as that's one of the required items.

Leo is only good at NAPD (2eP+2eA, reroll possible). He could try any of the cunning based ones at 3eA. I think maybe Roger should take the NAPD, while Leo takes an unlikely shot at Utilities on the surface. If he fails, someone else can pick it up.

How does that sound to everyone?

Habitat = 3eA+1eP
Industrial = 4eA
Utilities = 3eA+1eP
Recreational = 2eA+1eP
Law Enforcement = 2eA
Corporate = 3eA

So Hab, Uti and Ind are my best shots.

Ven trying the Utilities and I going for Habitat sound ok to me! We got some fallback for those apparently, which's good!

And I'm guessing if we do succeed in Utilities and Habitat soon, Leo and Roger can even go for two NAPD-related buildings? XD

I have to look again to give specifics, but just to make sure it's said before I forget. Nadia will be most help with anything that's intellect based here. She's not great, just ability, but decent enough with 4 int.

Ugh, helping to create a police state!

But yeah, this sounds like a good plan! You vital buildings people want to roll first, in case things go wrong?

Sounds like a plan!

EDIT:
Went ahead and rolled for the Housing complex at the Surface level. Took up one slot there, guessing the next one could go for the Utilities Complex before we move on to the Subsurface?

Also - 1 boost granted to the next one to roll!

Actually, considering Netsearch could be used I imagine Nadia could roll 3eP + 1eA on any Knowledge skillchecks here.

So, I guess either Nadia or Ven should throw down a utility, and then have at it?

Also, do we want a "theme" here? I confess, for Di I'm tempted to do a bar/club on a lower level called "The Dark Side of the Moon" or something like that.

Oh, I'll also do one of the more difficult layers, as my Charm and/or Leadership is pretty good.
