The walk toward Perez's office was an easy one, given its obvious position near the middle of the floor. It might have taken a few twists and turns to get to where she needed to go as the office looked like it was built in the middle of a hedge maze. It was probably some sort of spiritual guru's idea of a high-concept corporate office where the cubicles were more in one with nature than its natural urban surroundings. However, a better analogy comes to mind that the maze only served to host the Queen of Hearts and her troops, with Jane potentially playing the role of Alice. Not any desk jockey would be working here, naturally, it was only reserved for the most promoted and most brown-nosing of corporate drones.
Jane would find her way to the double doors of his office, made of a wooden door veneer. It seemed security might have taken the night off too, considering the boss wasn't in. However, the door didn't budget on contact.
