Appearance
A bit older than she acts and looks, this fits her overall lackadaisical attitude. This overall lack of professionalism, even when in full company uniform, stretches the boundaries of Jinteki policies. Her rationale is that this puts the "units" at ease during a pursuit, that they won't be expecting a drifter-type to come for "collection."

She'd be in better shape if she took better care of herself. Some makeup and glasses help conceal the bags under her eyes, helping her conceal the restless nights after constant abuse of her body's systems. A bit of exercise, youth, and a passable diet (despite her other antics) will only serve her for so long.

Despite her job description, she does not carry any open weaponry most of the time. However, with typically baggy clothing, one could reasonably expect her to be hiding some on her person.

Model description
The NAG Mk3, or "New Angeles Government Mk 3" model, is the third version of a line of bioroids commissioned by the New Angeles Government for the purpose of observing, overseeing and monitoring negotiations, political dealings, protocols and committees. The product line was first commissioned some fifteen years ago, and has a focus on social function, political and legal knowledge, programmed in to easily follow and monitor the intricacies of a variety of legal proceedings, protocols, agreements and other political and practical matters.

Unlike the previous Mk 1 ("Angie") and Mk 2("Lily") versions of the product line, the NAG Mk3 version ("Angelina") has features specifically designed to operate better in less friendly and more challenging or hazardous negotiation and monitoring environments. This includes a more clearly synthetic design, built-in capacity with nonlethal weaponry, increased resistance to damage and specific programming to deal with non-cooperative interactions.

Unit information
NAG Mk3-19, or "Angelina 19", was the nineteenth unit of their product line to be built. As others of its make, it has a clearly artificial female-like appearance. Unit 19 has a deep, pleasing but unmistakably synthetic voice, coral blue eyes with a silver sheen and the model's telltale iridescent glow, silver-white synth-hair, and rather light plasteel-covered synthskin which shows details in a clearer metallic silver in notches between the main skin plates.

Unit 19 has been operating in overseeing and monitoring political dealings, protocols and committees since their assembly 9 years ago. Many who have worked with them or witnessed her work before say they are able at assessing and re-analysing morally ambiguous situations, perhaps more so than other bioroids. Those in the New Angeles Government who most often deal with "Lina 19" (as the unit came to be called fondly by those closest) commend the unit's performance and consider them a valuable and reliable coworker (equipment?), despite (or because of) their having apparently developed something like an AI-generated "collateral moral code" while dealing with ambiguous situations.

Lina 19 often acts and performs as a woman - as expected given the appearance and inbuilt programming of NAG overseer models. However, Unit 19 has apparently increasingly behaved differently according to the situation, especially outside official occasions. This does seem to make some - human and android alike - uneasy, since it seems like a deviation from the model's expected performance... but 9 years of records of good services for the government seem enough for most to not think much of these oddities.

The selection of the adaptable and trustworthy Bioroid as a Government overseer for the Mayor's Planning Committee for the Heinlein revitalization and expansion projects seemed like an obvious choice given their precise and serious work in previous projects. Of course, the Bioroid's strictly programmed restrictions on what could or could not be accepted also means the Government should not have to worry about them prioritising "personal" interests.

In a world of androids and genetically modified humans, Dr. Lux doesn't really stand out. She's somewhat plain-looking, not particularly tall, and just pretty average physically. She dresses in rather simple clothing, rarely catching an eye in her fashion choices. Surprisingly, she is well-spoken and mannered, as one might expect from a socialite, but she otherwise doesn't show much of being anything like a pampered dilettante.

Evangeline was considered a child prodigy in her youth, graduating high school years before her peers and pursuing higher education in multiple subjects. Among academics, some attention was given to her dissertation of android psychology, but overall it has been glossed over for her years of working for Haas-Bioroid.

Recently Evangline has been more outspoken of her support for the Simulant Abolitionist Movement, and for equality between androids and humans. Normally this would probably cause someone to be fired from Haas-Bioroid, but it seems like the corporation is tolerating it for now while pushing Dr. Lux forward as an example of their own "awareness of the ever-evolving subject of android rights", even connecting her to the New Angeles mayor's project for Heinlein.

From business to business casual, Nadia would appear to many at first glance to not even be a clone. Of course, for those who frequent association with VIP's or corporate sysops divisions would be more familiar with the Avaline series they're not a common sight on street level. Often unspoken, she would almost seem more comfortable at Elizabeth's side than on her own. Nadia is a relatively young clone whom has been in service to Elizabeth for the last year or so. A relatively fresh face, and mind, she's as skilled and equipped to handle the construction or defense of systems as any of the other Avaliine's.

Avaline models are produced and trained in the constructive uses of the net, but also in defense. At an appropriate time in their growth they are augmented with Cybereyes and state-of-the-art Skulljacks with wireless capabilities. These augmentations allow them to perform their duties almost regardless of where their physical body is. While their use in Sysops units for corporate entities could be accomplished easily without such augmentations it is these augmentations that make the Avaline series unique for the VIP class. A dedicated Avaline hooked into a VIP's personal PAD or other mobile data system could become alerted to, and immediately defend, any intrusions while making one's daily endeavors. For this reason the model is often popular among those individuals with the wealth to afford the peace of mind.

Ven, no one calls him Venancio, is not your normal Jinteki employee. He's outgoing, unashamedly gay, friendly, feline, too friendly, fun loving, and did we mention overly friendly? He's a Senior Sysops at Jinteki's IT Division. Very young for the role, rumours abound he slept his way to the promotions and considering how much he flirts with all the male employees at Jinteki, he probably did. Still he's good at his job and just loves getting to 'play' in the Net all the time.

He dresses in whatever he likes and thinks he looks cute in, not caring of the clothing is intended for the male or female body. He's as likely to turn up to work in skaterboi shorts and t-shirt as he is in a skirt and crop top. Likewise his hair could be in various styles and colours depending on his mood. His ears and tail are always the dark blue he had them modded to, except for the tip of his tail which is white. His G-Mod has also added more than a few feline mannerisms to his life, and there is always a can of Diesel somewhere within easy reach.

His apartment door, in Nihongai, really needs a revolving door considering the number of men that have passed through it. Few do so for more than one night though and none have made it for more than a week.

Every corporate group has a few employees like Leo. Someone who takes care of problems. Someone who is introduced simply as "Mister Knight". They don't have a title, they just "work in security". Even the clothing, formal suits and jackets, gloves but no ties, might as well come from a corporate assassin's catalog. Although Leo's tend to be rumpled enough that someone should get him an ironing board for his birthday. Not that anyone knows when his birthday is. Maybe Christmas or something.

Fitting the persona, Leo tends to be quiet, speaking only occasionally with a rough voice, weathered by age and smoky bars. He is polite, methodical, generally cold, generally distant. Sometimes he watches a sports game at the sports bar, but he doesn't tend to drink much, or say much. He doesn't seem to have many hobbies, except that he'll sometimes sit in a quiet place, information flashing across his cybernetic eye. Perhaps a city park, or a cafe without too many flashing neon signs.

Leo has been attached to the Heinlen project as a "facilitator", which could mean any number of things. He is approaching it with more enthusiasm than he has most of the recent projects he'd been assigned to. Which equals... some enthusiasm.

On the MOON, Diana is known for partying and living a luxurious life free of obligations. Apparently that life is over, judging by her presence on the committee. She now has to work for her trust fund. Whatever.
