Wilson Clayton II

While not exactly part of the committee, Wilson Clayton II has some vested interest in the mayor's plan for expanding Heinlein. Its expansion will naturally come with new opportunities for businesses and leisure, thankfully that the Thomas Group dealt in both. If there could be a Magic Wonder World on Luna, then they lay claim to being the first amusement park outside of Earth.

Wilson Clayton II was sure to host an evening catering to members of the committee who was open to the idea of supporting his venture and potentially lay the foundation of his plan. He was very obvious about his intention when he brought them into the amusement park, providing them with an elite day pass to be at the front of the line, and even providing a gift basket with miniature plushies with mascots. These were irrelevant favours and ultimately, support didn't come cheap. The affair would drag on into the night, where they were would have a banquet with Wilson Clayton II himself, serving up a full twelve-course meal with generously large potions that could only be described as bountiful or very American.

Diana smiled widely at the gift basket.

"Quite kind of you Mr. Clayton." She thanked him demurely.

"It's my first experience here, what would you recommend to try first?"

Wilson did his best to give Diana a charming southern gentlemanly smile. Thankfully too, he had been briefed on all of the names of his guests prior to the evening. "Oh, you're most welcome. I consider it a fine pleasure to be sharing my hospitality, especially with young and enterprising folk such as yourself, Miss Harper. If your evening concludes without good thoughts of the Thomas Group and Magic Wonder World, then I've failed as your host."

A few Cordova clones were on staff and they were sure to supply the guests with ample wine as the courses were brought in. The dinner would begin with some hors d'oeuvres, that took form with an assortment of shellfish and oysters. In a blatant display of wealth, the oysters had pearls found in them. The guests could take them for 100 Credits of value if they wished.

He straightened his jacket. "I must confess, I've never been on many of the rides myself but I have heard from my nieces, nephews, and step-children that the Wonder Mountain rollercoaster is a delight to ride on, especially the part where the rollercoaster takes them to the dwarven gemstone caverns of Hu'rak. I personally would not recommend getting on the Dragonflight. We have a special clause there that no insurance company will be liable to what happens there."
