[Ven Garcia-Estravez]

Having people stare at his outfit and him . . . was exactly why Ven had worn it in the first place, but he was sure to make it very, VERY clear it was men he was interested in.

Apart from that it was dance time.

Bree

Bree would watch from her side of the bar until she seemingly got a call on her PAD. She would wave over one of the bartenders to reattend the opening she was going to leave, slinking off to take the call.

Thorn

As Ven and Diana got to dancing, there was one of the men who was looking over in their direction. Well, he would have been looking in their direction either way. Diana might recognize him as Thorn, Bree's younger brother who was helping around with security around the place. He was probably better at the looking tough act than actually doing his job, admittedly.

Di floated towards Thorn, letting out a small whoop. "Oh hey, look at you." She smiled as she settled next to him. "I think there's a disturbance going on." She pointed towards Ven. "You might need to handcuff him or something." She tried shoving Thorn towards Ven. "For justice and order and all that jazz!"

The oblivious Ven was too busy dancing and enjoying himself to have any idea what Diana was doing.

Di floated towards Thorn, letting out a small whoop. "Oh hey, look at you." She smiled as she settled next to him. "I think there's a disturbance going on." She pointed towards Ven. "You might need to handcuff him or something." She tried shoving Thorn towards Ven. "For justice and order and all that jazz!"

Thorn

Thorn had been enjoying the show for a while but didn't exactly expect the show to make its way to him. He would immediately straighten his back and stand away from the wall that was leaning on. There was a blush that found its way to his cheeks as he was caught staring. "What? Me?!...Yeah, but..."

Coaxed by Diana to do something and not wanting to be a party pooper, Thorn would stride his way over to where Ven was dancing and stood by the table with a few nods. "I see that you're causing trouble..." he would say at first before realizing that's not exactly what he wanted to say. "I mean, I see that you're not causing trouble. That's why I'm here, you know, I'm the no trouble-causing police."

"He should be arrested for excessive hotness officer!" Di goaded him on gladly!

And helpfully.

Surely that was being helpful.

Ven blinked as he was accosted by . . . a seriously handsome police cat.

"Mrao! Sorry officer. I'll get right to the trouble causing then!"

With that he hopped on to the table to give Thorn a private dance . . . except they weren't in private.

Ven's next 'totally voluntary and not mandatory at all' Psych appointment was going to be a long one.

Thorn wasn't actually real police, considering his outfit was a tank top with ripped jeans. Maybe club police, a bouncer, really.

He gave a big blink as Ven started a rather enthralling performance that made the wylder gawk at first before he reminded himself that he was supposed to be a part of the staff here. "Huh...Wow, you're very good at that. You're kind of flexible, aren't you? I mean, you're supposed to be causing trouble here but I think this is the sort of trouble that people around here would appreciate. Uhm...but really, you should probably try to keep your clothes on."

"Hmmmm maybe!"

Ven gave that some serious consideration. He wasn't exactly wearing much in the first place so there was little he could actually take off 'safely'.

"Maybe you're right, so let's see . . . nya . . . if I don't take any clothes, why don't you instead!?!?!?!"

[Boogiepop]

Thorn

Thorn scoffed at the idea and the forwardness of it all. However, there was a slight smirk on his lips to indicate that he was at least amusing and having fun with this. "Ah, well...usually I'd like to wait for a good excuse before I do any of that, maybe on Sprinkler Saturdays. The NAPD, unfortunately, gave us a hefty bill for Wild Wednesdays. We can't run those anymore...So, hey, maybe I can get your name? I'm Thorn. I just help my sister around here."

[Ven Garcia-Estravez]

"Sprinklers? Nya?"

He looked up, not wanting to suddenly get very wet. He hated being unexpectedly wet.

"I'm Ven. Nice to meet . . . well dance for you, Thorn. Mrao!"

Thorn

"We're a few days away from Saturday, you're good now unless there's a fire." Thorn chuckled before cracking a grin with a hand brushing through his hair and ears, feeling a little more confident now after a few words and the exchange of names. "Nice you have you drop by the Wyldside, Ven. I noticed that you're new around here unless you've been hiding pretty well. Kind of hard to imagine that I'd miss you around here with moves like that but you just seem like such a natural here."

[Ven Garcia-Estravez]

"You ain't seen me before because this is my first time here! Lots of firsts. First time up the Beanstalk. First time on the Moon. First low g table dance. Mrao!!!"

His parkour! skills maybe helped a bit, but if you watched closely he was definitely not totally used to the gravity.

"I would ask you if you were enjoying yourself with your first but your dance almost speaks for itself." Thorn took notice of this was approached closer to the edge of the table to catch him should he fall. He had some experience with a few tourists around Wyldside, at least.

"But you probably don't want to add a first wipeout to your stay. I don't know if I could catch you from every angle with those moves," he chuckled on that note with a wink.

"Hmmmmmmm . . . "

Ven paused for a moment, an almost devious look coming into his eyes.

"We'll have to test that then, nyah?"

Then he 'fell', carefully and somewhat dramatically towards Thorn.

The dramatic cues from Ven were more than enough for Thorn to see which direction he was falling, the slower fall also helped too. He was more than ready to catch him into his arms before he could bump his head on a chair or table. "Mreow. Hey there, I guess I'm that good or just lucky," he said with a big goofy smile.

Ven looked up with a. . . . very happy grin on his face.

"Mrao, nice catch. You could get very lucky with catching skills like this."

He was making absolutely no attempt to move. In fact he was quite enjoying being right where he was.

Thorn let out an abashed chuckle as he gave a shrug of his shoulders on the matter. "Aw, gee...well..I've actually had a lot of practice."

There was a pause, wondering if that was misinterpreted or if Ven could get jealous of anything he said. "With the catching, I mean, really."

While he was sure he could hold Ven like this for a while, he made his way over to one of the cushioned seats nearby the table Ven was just dancing on. He would settle down on the leather seating with a telltale creak and relaxed his carrying of Ven, allowing him to take a seat beside him. Or on his lap, if he so decided to. "You should really swing by more, I'm sure you'll be a hit with locals in no time."

The Thorn lap made a very good seat so Ven stayed in it.

"That's fine. I like being caught!"

Jealousy just wasn't part of Ven's MO. He didn't mind sharing at all.

"I'd love to come here more, all depends on work though. Not sure how often they'll let me come up here."

Thorn adjusted himself slightly on the leather seating, to things comfortable for himself and Ven. "Better caught this way than caught in another, right? Not that I think I would ever need to toss you out or anything. You seem more like the fun trouble-making sort and then dangerous trouble-making sort."

"Yeah? What do you do?" Wait, let me guess..." He put a hand on his forehead like he was psychic, his cat ears flattening as he tuned his senses. "Vidcast show host. Couldn't you just get a transfer here? It would be much closer than going back and forth."
